Aldi recalls Berg hotdogs over bone fragments, bacteria

Supermarket giant Aldi has issued an Australia-wide recall for a range of American style hotdogs due to the presence of bacteria and bone fragments.

The NSW Food Authority issued the recall for Berg Smallgoods American Style Skinless Hot Dogs in a 375g plastic pack, for date codes up to and including a December 28 use by date

“Consumers should not consume this product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund,” the warning stated.
