What to do in the garden this week

1. Look for a site to grow sweet peas. They will require sun and a trellis.

2. Echinacea is a wonderful perennial to have in the garden. Plant it in mixed beds or in with the vegies.

3. Keep mowing the lawn at a slightly higher level until the weather cools down.

Tip of the week

If you live near a beer brewery ask for their wastage — it’s great for the garden and smells wonderful.
