A wife has made a tearful plea for the public to help her find her missing husband who was his city’s basketball coach.
Central Queensland woman Rebecca Smith has no idea why her 45-year-old schoolteacher husband Blair Smith hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.
‘We don’t know where he’s gone or which direction he’s gone, we don’t know anything,’ she told the Gladstone Observer with tears in her voice.

‘This is so terrible, we have no idea if he’s okay.
‘We want him to know… Blair, you are so loved and we miss you.’
Blair Smith was last seen at the Boyne Valley, south of Gladstone, on Tuesday.
The missing man, who coached the Gladstone Port City Power basketball team until August, has been described as out of character by Queensland police.
He is described as being 200 centimetres tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
He may be travelling in a 2012 model white Toyota Hilux ute with Queensland registration 878 SSX.
