Child injured after being hit by bus in Carine

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of an accident in Carine, where a bus hit an 11-year-old boy on a bike.

There are reports the child ended up under the front of the bus and St John Ambulance has confirmed he was being taken to Princess Margaret Hospital.

He has reportedly suffered a broken leg.

The crash happened at the intersection of Beach and Davallia roads.
