A man has been accused of bashing several gay men after using a dating app to lure them isolated areas in Perth’s south.
It is understood the man, who is in his 20s, has been charged after allegedly assuming an identity online to meet gay men before encouraging them to meet him in ovals and car parks.
He is accused of bashing at least five men over several months and his victims are alleged to have included a man who received critical head injuries.
Another man was allegedly threatened with a bottle before being chased, stomped on and kicked.
Police have refused to provide further details on the alleged attacks.
