From bulb prep to end-of-summer maintenance, Sabrina Hahn shares her weekly to-do list for home gardeners.
1. Cut back summer-flowering perennials such as rudbeckia and salvia to 10cm above the ground.
2. Place cold-climate bulbs like tulips in the crisper of the fridge — but, be warned, many bulbs can be poisonous.
3. Feed camellias now to get the best flowering in early spring.
